Dudeman VS Doomsday (Custom Sprites/Music) (Med)

Description
This time the custom music pack is not essential, but playing with it certainly adds to the campaign experience.

I have no idea why but uploading a campaign to the steam workshop doesn't allow for the sprGlassSurface sprite to change via workshop-downloaded level mods, so I've included a patchwad for you to apply to your game in the above drive link. To add it simply put it in the /Documents/MyGames/HotlineMiami2/mods folder (create a mods folder if you don't have one, the game will recognise it). This will give you the custom glass textures.

The sequel to Dudeman VS Evil is here!

December 28, 1991. Doomsday. The Russian & American presidents have both been assassinated. There is no war, nuclear detonations ravage the world, turning the United States into an apocalyptic wasteland. Play as the Dude as he fights to survive in a vicious new world.

Dudeman VS Doomsday is a gigantic step up from Dudeman VS Evil, with multiple levels, smoother cutscenes and new sprites. The soundtrack is a combination of fitting in-game tracks and new dark synth unique to this campaign (as of writing this).

The level design has been greatly refined from the first DM. Similarly to the first Hotline Miami, bold gameplay is rewarded, as is a tight aim. All levels are designed to be fully combo-able.

Additional sprites originally created by Yossarian the Assyrian and CrazyJaydon.

If you would like to use any of the sprites created specifically for this campaign then feel free to add me and let me know so I can send you the spritesheets.

Enjoy!

Ey no bother. I thought the original was fine but this has really made me entertained (probably due to the apocalyptic setting as recently I have just been playing apocalyptic mods than anything) and I have been replaying this quite often lmao so am currently not clawing at the walls waiting for an update to the apocalyptic adventures of dudeman. Good job

Glad you enjoyed it mate! I've been taking a break from Hotline Miami for a while now but I might play around with another Dudeman campaign some time in the future

Also, I am digging this storyline, would love to see more of Dudeman's adventures - even if it does take place in the apocalypse

Did I just see some dude getting fucked in one of the scenes?

Turned out better than I expected, judging by your previous works. You're improving.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! The cutscenes can be irritating when using a non item-based trigger on any floor that isn't the first, as it keeps your character highlighted and your crosshair visible, allowing you to turn around and even move in some cases, but I know no fix for that :P Tysm for the feedback!
