Aegir-Class Colony Vessel

Kyreas Shipyards is well known for its wide array of ships produced, small warships, haulers, freighters, and the like. Yet easily one of the company's more unique vessels is the Aegir, which serves to transport large numbers of people for the purpose of colonizing fringe worlds on a large scale. It is able to carry tens of thousands of people, along with having a sizable cargo capacity, adequate speeds, as well as extreme hyperspace range. Its lack of combat capabilities are clear, however, only mounting a handful of guns for its size as well as limited shielding. Yet it is surprisingly easy to modify for its size, meaning it is not uncommon to see them repurposed as cargo haulers. Or for a more sinister purpose, to serve as the flagship of pirate fleets.
