AT-DP (Galactic Empire)

The All-Terrain Defense-Pod is a light walker developed by Kuat Drive Yards (KDY) and is the direct predecessor to the AT-ST, and was used before the official outbreak of the Galactic Civil war at the Battle of Scarif. It was also the successor to the Galactic Republic's AT-RT. It was created as a defense support walker as the name implies by helping keep worlds loyal and in line, while also being a training walker for cadets and those learning to use walkers. It was armed with one heavy laser cannon on a ball turret on the chin of the vehicle as its only armament. It has room for a driver (front), gunner (middle), and commander (back).

It was created out of George Lucas's original concept for the AT-ST, and appeared in "Star Wars: Rebels" prominently throughout the show.

NOTE: Though it may seem strange, this walker was taller than its successor, and had a stronger armament. Size doesn't always matter though!
