"A hot summer day walk as i pass by the elevated train tracks on Jerome ave near the Mosholu Parkway. Many a night i have enjoyed the solitary stillness of the area. To think just two blocks away is a reservoir and miles of parkland alive with rabbits, hawks, blue birds etc."

Still i got my quiet places though i don't go out late anymore due to the heavy crowd element which could be a problem in the very late hours. In the end it comes down to mostly you don't bother them they wont bother you except for the few who will cause problems with anyone.

A lot of new residential and business, medical buildings have also been coming up so that could explain a lot of the new faces. With all the construction, upkeep and repair work going on the old guard may have left for quieter grounds.

Areas like this are still nice and quiet mostly but it has been getting pretty crowded lately with a major influx of new people the past two years. Most of the old neighborhood from when i moved in at 2007 is no longer around for one reason or another. Last year the face of the neighborhood changed big time and the same happened this year with even more intensity with mainly a strong family character compared to when i moved here when it was mostly young students and gorgeous model types. Now its mainly children, teens and older adults. Oh and a lot of muscular guys which is rather odd to see them all over the place so suddenly ha ha.
