Black Knight

Description
"How far this warrior, once righteous, has fallen. Perhaps he is a reflection of your own fate?"
The Black Knight is a ruins miniboss constructed with clever use of in-game assets to create a unique encounter with its own mechanics.

Abyssal energy surrounds the knight, who is more than willing to give your heroes a taste of its corrupting power. Be wary, the abyss consumes all it touches and should your heroes become too exposed to its embrace their bodies will deteriorate and become fragile.
Be prepared to deal with stress and high damage, this warrior is too far gone and will offer you no mercy.

Should you manage to defeat him, you may recover a dark artifact hungering for a new vessel...

--Important Notes--
- This is my first ever mod for Darkest Dungeon. Constructive criticism is more than welcome!
- The Black Knight can only appear in the ruins, specifically in hallways.
- WITH SOUNDS!!!

It's finally here...
THE SOUND UPDATE!!!
I have at last figured it out, and can proudly say that the Black Knight is now complete with sounds!

i am very sorry that it took so long but modding is hard

This mod has been updated! (after like... 5 years?) Most significantly, there is a chance for a new trinket to be found should your party defeat the Black Knight that comes with positive and negative effects!
Modding sound continues to elude me, sadly, but I have generated localisation files, so the infamous blue strings should plague other languages no more!

A good one and same time nothing special. Lvl 1 Knight has 108hp and does average damage. Only problem is probably for those who don't run ENG game version like me. His skills are unreadable and shown as blue text.
String bla bla bla hit u. Which makes all process hilarious. Wake up NEO! Press alt + f4 to run from broken reality.

i have not tried it with this mod, but you should be able to make this into a skin for your crusader pretty easy by just copying the mod files into your crusader directory and renaming them. I did so for the paladin mod, took some of the more steel/silver crusader skin mods and copy pasted their files into the paladin folder, renamed them, and now i got silver paladins instead of power ranger colored ones (no offence paladin mod author)
