Red Rising: The Society

Description
Play as the Society of Man from Pierce Brown's Red Rising novels. This mod lets you either play as the Society of Man as it achieves FTL travel and leaves its solar system, or encounter them played by the AI in your game.

Includes the following features:

> Play as the Society of Man with their own custom origin, civic and flag. Start with both Gold and Red pops.
> Unique event chains allow you to expand the Hierarchy of Colors, adding new pops to your empire.
> Found the Institute, employ Peerless Scarred leaders and battle the Sons of Ares.
> A new mechanic, Decadence, represents the balance between Pixies and Iron Gold in your empire.
> Other event chains depict the Society's history as we know it from the books, including the Dark Revolt and the Rising.
> You can also use the origin and civic in your own custom empires, and the quest-lines will adapt to your species and country.
> Also includes new councils positions, destiny traits, council agendas, sitations and more!

If you don't choose to play as the Society yourself, they should spawn somewhere in the galaxy under the control of an AI. This mod should work in multiplayer, and in theory should work even if several players play as the Society, but this feature is under-tested, so be cautious.

@Private Dancer Glad to hear it :) her death doesn't affect anything, but if Darrow becomes Sovereign that does kick off a short event chain where he tries to reform the Society as its leader.

@Private Dancer You can use the latest, default version of the game to run this (at time of writing, 4.1.3). I've given it a quick test with the newest post-DLC release just now, so it should be good to go. Enjoy!

What version of Stellaris do we use for this? Bought the game specifically for this mod!

Obsidian and Grey pops will be deployed to a planet that has available space (if no planets have space, it'll just wait until one opens up). You can check your Species view to see what planets they're on.

The other new Colors (Blue, Orange, Silver etc.) are only implemented as modifiers instead of actual populations for now, but this might change in the future.

How do I find the new color pops i researched. Will they just start being born into existence cause idk? I'm still playing through this moid and game and am pretty new. Love the mod, keep up the amazing work.

There’s no custom ascension path, though you can take any of the existing biological ascension paths as normal.
