Has anyone ever managed to get a hydrogen engine to require Oxygen & Hydrogen to produce power - while also outputting Ice/Water?
I've always found 'Hydrogen Engines' painfully dumb.
Hydrogen goes in
Electricity comes out
What in all manner of science is it doing with that hydrogen????
Even if its not combusting it, Hydrogen Fuel cells react Oxygen and Hydrogen.
I'd accept some kind of 'hand wavium' catalyst that goes into the 'engine' like platinum to produce heat and that drives a thermoelectric something something.....
But honestly just the closed loop of H + O2 -> H2O + electrical charge - and then the player can 'bank' fuel for solar/wind/nuclear shortages and then crack the H20 later when they have energy surplus would be...well it'd be science. And fun for power economies.
If its possible to add this into this mod via configs then I'd be so happy.
Have not tested that. Prototech should not be affected. If it is, that's a bug with the mod.
It's fine if not. Can tweak the reactor on it's own. Either way, love the mod, makes a ton of sense. Add it to every world now :)
Just did, and thank you for pinging! I don't play SE often to notice there are new relevant blocks.
