*****Don't use or subscribe to this, its just an information page, the patch is no integrated into the main mod*****

CE Patch for Rust Handmade Weapons

I only play with combat extended so i put work into this patch too.

New ammo, they are the worst in their caliber in every way, except they can be made at a smithy table

Handmade 5.56, added to the 5.56x45 ammoset

Handmade 9x19, added to the 9x19 ammoset

Handmade Shell, added to the 12 gauge ammoset
note: the shells are made with steel unlike stone in rust. I decided against using stone chunk/bricks in the recipe because it probably more annoying than it is helpful as you dont always have stone

Rocket
Low velocity, high relative damage, low relative armor pen, medium damage radius

High velocity
High velocity, low relative damage, high relative armor pen, small damage radius

incendiary
Low velocity, high relative damage, low relative armor pen, large damage radius

The guns all have their proper mag sizes and reload times with ammo being crafted at the smithy table as well

The eoka with ce is definitely the worst gun in the game its almost funny how bad it is, but can be a wild card with slugs. (this mod is recommended if you find 12 gauge slugs are too mundane https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2283676194 )

The rust guns all use some form of handmade ammunition but can also use their loading bench equivalent. (5.56x45 Nato, 9x19 Parabellum, and 12 gauge shells) vice versa also (useful if say you get an MP5 during your medieval stage, you can still craft ammo but only handmade)

@Proner fixed it and integrated this patch into the main mod, so just unsubscribe from this and use the one mod

Yeah another raider spawned, this time with an SMG, and it didn't use ammo either. I might've broken something. :skele:

Hey there; I'm using your mod and it seems like the Double Barrel Shotgun doesn't use ammunition currently? It has a functional caliber but doesn't need to be reloaded, at least not the last one i saw being used by the ai, plus i think they were shooting single pellets. :skele:

new update. added the handmade ammo to the ammoset so all weapons modded and vanilla can use the handmade ammo and all handmade weapons can use all combat extended ammo vanilla or modded.

Also tiered research for weapons.

Any inputs on balance would be great as i rarely play in medieval

Very nice mod, 10/10, just hope you can find a way to make handmade ammo upward compatible.
