Description
Independent Habitat Type 2

Developed as a standalone starter base for a solo or small group of engineers, the Type 2 hab is a compact springboard for your expedition.

It has a more weathered grittier feel than the other modules, as it was built for use on dusty low/no O2 planets such as Mars. To this effect it has an air vent connected to the main tank set to collect the trace oxygen from the atmosphere. There is no airlock, but due to the low occupancy it is not necessary. Simply depressurise the habitat at the button panel before leaving.

Power is provided by a reactor and single battery, so you’ll have to act fast to set up a renewable source.
I'm happy to say that this build can be used without DLC, just plug the holes, replace the stairs with their vanilla counterparts and you'll be up and running in no time :)

Yaaay! I loved your habitats and stations from before, I hope you make more! I'd especially love to see a fully-fledged surface facility :D

Fantastic. I actually just put together a general habitat of my own that is very similar. It's a bit smaller, but that's because the internals aren't there. It's essentially just a personal bedroom with space to customize, not a fully independent system.
