Sharpie

Description
This mod adds a Sharpie that can write graffiti on walls, furniture, items, and creatures! You can set its color or make it a random color. You can get it by trading with Q Girl (she has five of them and is willing to share!). You can even use it to change an object's appearance color, like a box of crayons.

The Sharpie is a 0-weight, 0-cost artifact trinket (it shows up as "weird artifact" or "small tube" before examination). It's currently only obtainable from Q Girl or wishes.

You can type a Unicode character by typing a backslash and lowercase u, then its 4-digit code. Example: a smiley face is \u263A. Note that only some characters are supported in CoQ's font.

Planned features:
-custom colored text patterns (like in artifacts and some adjectives)

Please comment any suggestions or bugs!

well it's no big deal, it just takes a little effort to get to the color I want. between sharpies and crayons, I'm set!! :slimetabby:

Yup, right now it's random. I could see about adding a custom object color picker, but I'm not totally clear on how CoQ stores foreground object colors, so I haven't been able to yet.

works great!! I'd already cleaned out Q Girl so she didn't have any to offer me but I could wish for it easily enough. is the color of the graffitied item picked randomly every time I use it? as far as I can tell, the prompt asking to pick a color is just to choose the color of the text

awesome, I'll try it out immediately, many thanks!!! :slimehappy::heart:

Hi! I finally got around to updating the mod thanks to your comment, it should work now! :) Let me know if there are any issues. You may want to back up your save before adding the mod just in case – when testing, I had a one-time error when saving that I couldn't replicate and could have been caused by something else, but just in case it happens to come back.

Works well. Would be cool if there's a version that lets you change the colour of items without graffitiing things? Like the box of crayons, but affecting primary colour rather than secondary.

Should be fixed now, an update totally broke the mod but it was an easy fix fortunately

Doesn't launch with Tycho's installed, and the game freezes if you try to wish for a sharpie :(
