Some tips on Railways in LOGistICAL: Earth

- Don't jump in buying a railway train until you have reached North Korea.
- Don't worry too much about the condition of the train, you will be able to rejuvenate it, which makes it the same as an AAA+ Excellent Condition train after rejuvenation.
- There is not much more benefit between a station in a big place as those in neighbouring smaller places, so if the price is in the millions, you may want to pick a much cheaper location down the tracks. For example, why pay $46 million for Sydney's 6 slots, when Surry Hills, Camperdown, Newtown (and dozens of stations within easy reach) are just $600,000 each with 4 slots each. Three stations for less than $2 million with 12 slots far better than one station for $46 million with just 6 slots!
- Towns that can have a station built in it will have a black rail icon at the top-right of the info box.
- Not all towns near railway lines can have a station - look for the black rail icon
- Some towns can be visually far from the railway line but still have a rail link - again, look for the black rail icon
- Towns that have a station already in it, or a town that you have built a station in, will have a white rail icon at the top-right of the info box
- On the map, Towns that have a station will have a purple glow around the icon
- Building a station in a town will give you an extra 1-3 industry slot over a town without a station
- Businesses can't have rail stations.
- Airfields and Airports (also known as States and Countries) can only be accessed by trains and planes. Trucks are not allowed.

- Pyongyang allows you to buy 4 trains in sizes 20t, 100t and 200t

Australia
- When you get to Australia, you'll get given a train on completion of the contract Australian Rail: Part 1. Don't buy one before that point.
- Australia has two separate rail networks that are not connected. You can buy one train at Port Headland which will only access the Iron Ore Mines. For the rest of Australia, you'll need to buy the trains from Morandoo
- Morandoo allows 4 trains, in sizes 20t, 100t, 200t and 400t
- Port Headland allows you to buy just 1 train in one size, 400t.
- The Iron Ore Mines in north-west Australia can only be accessed by train - trucks are not allowed.
- The Port of Port Headland can only be accessed by train and ship - trucks are not allowed.
