One-Handed Crossbows

Adds standard and legendary one-handed crossbows to Tangledeep. They are less powerful than two-handed crossbows, but can be used with all kinds of off-hand gear.

This mod adds 4 generic and 4 Legendary one-handed crossbows to appropriate drop tables and shops. They've been designed to fit alongside the game's core content. Functionally, they bridge the gap between spears and regular crossbows: Most of them have a base range of 2 tiles, but can shoot 1 tile further at the cost of all current CT. If you find your CT meter suddenly empty, this is probably why.

Here are a few important notes:

• They can be used with shields, tomes, and quivers.
• They can be used with a melee weapon in the off hand. This allows the crossbow to be used normally, with the melee weapon making off hand attacks only if a target is close enough.
• They can be used in the off hand alongside a melee weapon or another one-handed ranged weapon. Due to a limitation on ranged attacks imposed by the game, they won't make off hand attacks unless you are adjacent to your target.
• Presently, the Rank 7 & 8 Legendary crossbows have a placeholder power harvested from a vanilla bow; I'm investigating ways to give them a slightly more unique effect.
