Kurin is a race born from the genetic engineering of a thriving world. Engineered for human comanionship - the Kurin were exploited by the humans who saw them little more than pets or worse.
One day the facility where you were 'created' was attacked - taking a chance you escaped along with several other kurin. you used a deep space pod launcher to get out of the facility. They sent you to a distant rimworld - but is it any better than what is behind you?

Your faction will be a Kurin's new base.
Start with 7 people, chosen from 10.
Arrive in drop pods.
Player starting characters start naked.
