Harbord Valley is a dense English urban and suburban rail network with several crossing routes and many industry connections. It features 2 unique timetables in 2 different eras of British Rail: 1975 and 1986.

This route offers a large selection of new models and liveries from the workshop and utilises the latest features such as new factory buildings, custom objects, signal types and night lighting.

Features:
  • NEW 1975 timetable with class 03, 37, 101, 111, 116, 119, 120 in period correct liveries
  • NEW - updated scenery, trackwork, signalling and night lighting features
  • A 1986 Network South East themed timetable
  • 100s of varied passenger scenarios and about 50 freight scenarios
  • You can drive a large selection of new workshop trains & wagons
  • Rural and urban areas with manually curated scenery

Tips:
  1. Some scenarios require coupling or reversing. If you're ever unclear, 'watch' a scenario first to see where to reverse, couple or stop.
  2. Scenarios with coupling, intentional delays or challenges are marked with an asterisk(*)
  3. If your system is fast enough set LOD and Drawing Distance >150% (graphics options)
  4. This route may get updates from time to time.

There's no way to view the map during the simulation, but this feature is planned for the next major update

The Class 37 mods based on the old Class 37 have a securing pin that you need to raise in order to release the brakes. The default key is B which you need to hold down while also holding down the brake release key. The pin mechanism has been removed from the stock 37 since.

This is a lovely route, probably the best I've ever played! :)
The route is excellent overall, but I have a minor problem with Class 37: I can't move the train brake handle, though I can click the "Watch" button in the driving settings and let the AI operate the brakes, then click "Drive" and the handle works fine.

Hi Armacham. As of right now, and while I would like to do a make over for this or create a similar style route, I do not have concrete plans to upgrade this route for the new DRS; this is because I want to release a new route first (which is a ton of work)... Thank you for the request and appreciation for the route.

Will we possibly be seeing an updated version of the route to clear any visual bugs from scenery update? Would be awesome if so, this is by far one of the best routes ever created in DRS.

The wall across track near High Clif will be fixed in the next patch (it's a bug in the game, not in the route)
