Description
DBU Strip Miner MkII

The MkII addresses a few concerns that were raised over the survivability of the initial design: mainly added shields w/additional power, advanced constructor and upgraded the exterior hull to hardened steel.

Mid to end game CV size class 1, CPU tier 2, asteroid miner available at level 25.
  • Motion sensitive ramp access is available from the bottom of the ship.
  • Motion sensors for the boarding ramp may be switched off.
  • Switches in the cockpit to control drills, multi turret and weapons.
  • HUD Displays shows current status of drills, multi turret, weapons and boarding ramp sensors.
  • Signals in the control panel to toggle spotlights and max lift.

  • 1 Ore Container Controller (320K storage)

  • 4 Cannon Turrets
  • 1 Pulse Laser Turret
  • 1 Ammo Container (8K storage)

Upgrade option
  1. Replace T1 Shield with a T2 Shield
  2. Replace 3 small generators with 1 T1 Generator

Oh yea! Looking forward to using this baby! Just got back into Empy, and was about to cook up the old mk I, this looks like it's worth the extra effort, since I am solo mining sometimes! Thanks, I'm sure it's gonna be awesome
