The sequel of Silent Justice from ArmA 2



Description:
You are a NATO elite Spec-Ops team that needs to save the day and needs to do it 'Swift', 'Silent', and 'Deadly'. This mission is designed for real coop engagement in a military tactical way. Though also playable in SP (if you manage/babysit your AI team properly). Because most of the Opfor AI only uses flashlights they will not be super accurate (aimbot), so for the ones complaining about over accurate AI, you will like this mission.

Briefing:
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
Yesterday a NATO chopper was shot down over the west coast of Altis by the Iranian forces. The chopper was transporting a high ranking officer that had 'top secret' documents with him. We can not let the Iranians get a hold of these very sensitive files, we need them back ASAP.

According to our intel both the pilot and the officer are alive and being held captive. We do not know the location of where they are being held, but according to our intel there is an Iranian officer at a millitary depot that has a laptop with him which contains info about the hostages location.

We want your team to head out there and retrieve the laptop from the depot. After you have extracted the laptop data and know the location of the hostages you need to advance to their location and free them. Make sure you have the secret documents with you before you leave the AO. Your primary task is to retrieve the files. Do not mess this up!


SECONDARY OBJECTIVE:
Further intel shows that the Iranians have new experimental chemical agents in their possession. The agents are being transported in 3 seperate suitcases and are somewhere located within the AO. The secret Service was able to place tracer beacons on the suitcases so that you are able to track them down if you are with in 250 meters of a suitcase. If you can retrieve them all and bring them back to HQ then we can analyze the chemichal agents. (seacrh for camp sites and checkpoint)

Team setup:
- Team Leader SD SOS (NV in backpack)
- 3x Rifleman SD NV (SOS in backpack)
- Machine Gunner (LMG) SD NV (TWS in backpack)
- Field Medic SD NV (SOS in backpack)





Tips:
Either in SP or coop, always try to hold fire till you are all at a decent spot to engage with enough cover. If you are under fire then move to an other position, don't be a sitting duck. The medic in the team should play a more passive role (hence the medics smaller amount of ammo) and should primarily serve as an aiding role and to wacht your teams 6 (overwatch). Because most of the opfor AI has no NVG's you can get closer to them the darker as it gets. You have the upper hand with NV scopes. You have plenty of ammo with you, but you can grab extra ammo from opfor checkpoints (I do not advice to change weapons, stick with your stealth gear). The weapon crates also contains other optics etc. For a proper extraction the team leader needs to be alive. The extreaction chopper in some cases can get borked because the chopper crew stays attacking on stray opfor units. This is not intended behaviour, but arma AI not doing as pre-defined by me, best is to go to the extraction point right away after finishing the objective to don't miss your ride. On player request I have added respawn, do note that you will not respawn with your stealth gear (grab it back from your dead body).

BIG thumbs up from me.
Everything went smoothly from beginning to end, loved the stealth aspect of the mission.
On my 2nd play through I waited till complete night fall and equipped the team and myself some NV scopes.
Was fun to pick the enemy off from the darkness.

Extraction was perfect. I liked that the crew jump out as if to secure the LZ. An idea maybe, give the crew a little animation script. Like one crew waves you and team onto the helo, while other guards scanning the area with his weapon raised.
This only occurred to me because they got out in the first place, which again nice touch there mate! :mhwgood: I liked that a lot.
