Sweet Pea Deluxe

Description
Capable of exploring the narrow crags and caverns of Europa which larger ships cannot, the Sweet Pea is often used for small crew exploration, rescue, and salvage missions.

Original by SlipWhenWet

Authors note: I think the original Sweat Pea is a great 3-person sub and my Deluxe model continues the spirit of the original by including many quality of life improvements without sacrificing the gameplay balance of the original.

Deluxe Model Updates:

Remastered Electronic systems:
- All useless non-functional circuits removed
- All wires laid in a cleaner design (Only apparent in editor)
- Circuit boxes adjusted so highest priority box on the left and lowest on the right

Door water detection:
- Windowless doors have hip height water detection that will be indicated with red blinker on opposite side of the door

Airlock entry button raised:
- Original version was overlapping with docking sprite and was tough to press, now its easy

Items remastered:
- Major focus on keeping the spirit of the original game-play balance intact.
- No fabricator added, use the ones in bases, plan your trip, manage your stores!
- Items re-shuffled around the ship for better gameplay
- a full reload is available for the shotgun and harpoon guns in stowage
- a grenade and an exploding harpoon added for a little extra boom
- Meds are reduced, but a med-fabricator is added since bases do not include them at this time
- if you want more oxygen you must make, buy or find them yourself!

More stowage:
- one extra locker in the stowage (find, buy or craft more toolboxes to maximize space!)
- a captain’s locker (not private) beside the Nav console to hold some gear moved from around the original ship for the captain's use on away missions, if you want to be like Captain Kirk

Alarm system improved:
- Alarm indication system on Nav console will show flood (blue) and fire (red) blinkers on a text map of the sub
- 3 Alarms in the ship provide visual (yellow light) and audio alarm when triggered
- Alarms are auto triggered by meltdown signal or smoke signal
- Alarms can be toggled at the Nav console. NOTE: Meltdown or Smoke signals must be clear to turn off alarm.

Oxygen Sensors and Alerts:
- Oxygen detectors in the top right corners of compartments will blink blue light if local O2 drops under 35%
- If you see BLUE, get your oxygen mask on!
- A ship-wide Avg % O2 total is displayed in the Nav compartment

Scram button:
- Added at top left of Nav compartment. This will shut down the reactor

Battery charge stand:
- includes one extra battery

Supercapacitor update:
- For game-play reasons this device will now draw power from the reactor and includes a charge rate switch
- One gun in use will not stress system very hard, two guns can be managed, and three wont last long! Toggle charge rate to 100% if you need it!

Lighting:
- Original was designed to have a night mode (red light) and day mode (white-greenish light) but it was not implemented fully. A new toggle switch beside Nav will switch between the two lighting modes
- Emergency lights re-positioned and 1 added to cover an overly dark spot

NOTE on bots: The doors don't auto shut and the Bots do not auto close doors so keep an eye on them and use the Nav consoles Close Doors feature.

Thanks! I feel like this ship is great if you are starting out or just want to drown with a couple friends. I was inspired to learn the ship editor as well because of this ship! The only reason to change it was I thought it needed more blinking lights :tobdog:

Quite luxurious, and I really enjoyed the write up of changes. I look forward to experimenting with this version!
