SRA DXT Passenger Car

When designing the DXT, research concluded that the BR Mark 3 carriages of the original HST would not be suitable for the often-harsh conditions of the route between the Isle of Donkk & the Mainland.

It was decided that a completely new design would be required, based off the frame of the already-proven Sprinter railcar. The end result was a steel-bodied passenger car treated for the corrosive environment it would be operating in.
The undercarriage, where the Sprinter's fuel tank would be, was replaced by an area for batteries, water & effluent tanks & space for other equipment.

Each car has a toilet, controls for lights, heating & an emergency brake key.
