T1 Hangar+Bunker Starter

-This was my first attempt at making my own tier 1 starter base in creative, and I've been using it since the release of alpha 12. The top half of the base is a large hanger with 2, 9 x 5 hangar doors on either side. My hangar is currently housing 1 rather large T3 SV, a T2 Sv, and 3 HV's of varying size. There are 4 Cannon turrets on the roof and 12 solar panels, along with 8 solar capacitors, basically guaranteeing a self sustaining base.

-The upper half of the base, or the hangar to be specific, is comprised entirely of Armored Concrete which is nearly as strong as 4 thick walls of regular concrete, 2,200 HP per block. I built the bottom half intending that portion to be submerged in the ground. The entire frame is comprised of Truss blocks, then surrounded by Carbon to ensure air-tightness.

-This portion is meant to be upgraded as you go, but even as it is, the HP total of Truss & Carbon equals 478, vs Steel blocks at 500 hp. However the Cpu cost difference is double to go with steel, or even more for concrete. This allowed me to build a rather large tier 1 starter base relatively on the cheap. The only non basic materials required are 4 cobalt, which can be easily acquired once you've scrapped the UCH ship. The entire base is lit with proximity sensor lighting, so no wasted energy, and I have made custom tabs to cut energy when not needed.

-In addition to the 27 grow plots installed on the sub floor, I have an elevator leading down to the potential 3rd floor basement. This has become a 99 plot farm in my own play through, and even with a Furnace and Deconstructor built, I have a ridiculous amount of space remaining. The elevator is contiguous btw, going from the deepest parts of the base to the roof. This single point of airtight concern makes maintaining a radiation free lifestyle rather simple.

-In addition the entire base and perimeter, is covered in motion sensors and aesthetic lighting. Space has been allocated for large objects like the tier 2 Shield and Deconstructor. The armored concrete walls are quite overkill against the Zirax attacks, but I prefer the peace of mind.

-The base comes in at 79,973 CPU, and is ready to be your first newb friendly haven. It is purposefully missing a few things, such as an O2 tank & dispenser, but I started on a temperate map so this was trivial.

-I did go a little hard on the lighting scheme, and for anyone annoyed by it, I have installed master kill switches for all sensors and lights.

-This next link is an SV with an enclosed armored cockpit, it can be utilized in space and harsh environments, and is even smaller for those tight spaces.
