3rd iteration Sierpinski triangle

Description
Probably one of the most famous IFS fractals, the Sierpinski triangle.

Here's what I was able to do:

It's pretty slow and space-inefficient so I'm curious to see what other people can come up with. Use whatever you need.

This puzzle inspired me to build a machine that constructs an infinite Sierpinski triangle. After 100000 cycles, this [imgur.com] is what it looked like.
