Description
Adds more diversity to Pax Nova. Updated to v1.3a for compatibility with Pax Nova v1.2.1 and Frostborn DLC. Quests are currently disabled while waiting for a fix when using Quests.xml in mods preventing players from saving the game.

No, this mod doesn't disable any of the base quests. It was only referring to the two added questions I put in. I had to disable that because it was breaking the ability to save the game.

Hey, I was thinking of trying this game out again now that it has more content and some more patches and saw your mod. Does your mod still disable quests as you wrote in the description or is that just referring to the 2 new quests you made? I would love to try your mod with my new game if it doesn't disable existing content.

np! Yeah, Pax has seen a slow but steady stream of patches and content since launch and it's still being supported. It's not everyone's cup of tea though. I think it's pretty solid and I get a lot of enjoyment from it at least. I did write up several guides on modding the game when I was attempting to work out how to do this mod so there's a good bit of flexibility with adding new stuff, just not EVERYTHING. :)

Thanks. I see you are still around and the only one having done a significant mod. I analyzed a bit with Steam enhanced the reviews split between positive and negative and it seems the game got its mixed rating from its initial release period and is in a decent shape now. Too bad it is not more open to modding and extensions.

I don't believe so. Only the stuff in the modding files is open to change so stuff like new factions, research, quests, events, artifacts, etc.

Is it possible to change the scope of the game (max number of planets or physical size of the space map?)

Cool. Yeah the stuff that might come up would be any text changes that were made to the core artifacts in the game and (i'm not 100% certain) it might mean any additional artifacts added through DLC wouldn't be available.

Seemed to work fine, got quite far in the game issue free so looks fine. But that was the first faction, not sure if there is any problems when playing someone else though.
