Space Engineers clearly is missing a few more armor block variants. Sure, there are a lot of great mods for that. But what if I told you that you can get them in vanilla without any mods?

This is a blueprint of a single vanilla armor block, it is merely artificially deformed to look like this.
You can just copy paste it in from your blueprints. Since deformation is kinda weird, you should definitely do that last, because if you place blocks next to it, the deformation will go away.

This block is actually the Light Armor Slope Base, has full integrity and all the stats from that block, it's just a bit deformed.

The block is airtight everywhere you would expect it be.

I just found out something similar to this already exists in the workshop.
It's quite old and made in a different way, but I thought I should probably link it here anyways:

I don't think so lol, I just use blast door edge/round armor block/remote control in place of this

I'm pretty sure it would loose it's shape. There might be a way around this, but for now it only really works in creative.

Say you had this on your blueprint which you're making in survival. If you were to weld it up, would it lose it's shape?

It totally is, just deformed. As if you shot at it to deform it like this. It's still at full integrity though.
