Description
The Mikoyan MiG-29K (NATO reporting name: Fulcrum-D) is a Russian all-weather carrier-based multirole fighter aircraft developed by the Mikoyan Design Bureau. The MiG-29K was developed in the late 1980s from the MiG-29M. Mikoyan describes it as a 4+ generation aircraft.

The MiG-29K was not ordered into production and only two prototypes were originally built because the Russian Navy preferred the Su-27K (later re-designated Su-33) in the early 1990s.

The programme got a boost in the late 1990s to meet an Indian requirement for a ship-borne fighter following the purchase of a former Soviet aircraft carrier, and the MiG-29K was first received by the Indian Naval Air Arm in 2009. The Russian Navy, with their Su-33s nearing the end of their service lives by 2010, has also ordered the MiG-29K as a replacement. It's smaller size (See pictures above) being a distinct advantage on the smaller carriers used by Russia.

This Build is fully Vanilla but needs the Aerodynamic Physics mod to fly.

All My Designs are built to scale as far as is possible using small blocks and are within 1 block (.5 meters) in every dimension (Not counting landing gear which I needed to make work within SE vanilla limitations) to the original.

It is capable of using the catapault on my Pocket Class Carrier (Comming Soon) and does not need arresting gear for recovery (See Video)
It uses several Vanilla scripts for launching it's Easy Lidar Homing Script guided missiles and Cruise Control for throttle control, and Whip's Artificial Horizon Redux instruments

I use a few cosmetic only mods to add some visual drama and improvements, none of which are necessary,
Whip's Camera Overlay For cleaner cameras and good point of aim
Big Smoke for missile thruster trails
Bullet Trail to make every round a tracer
Screen Gunk Be Gone! To make someone clean the damned visor and camera lenses of fingerprints and smudges!
Edge Be Gone! (No armor edges) Because Armor Edges just look like crap, Especially on Aircraft!

What if you really, really, want to play on Vanilla?
I have you covered.
The VTOL module simply takes the place of the two outside hardpoints (Merge Blocks) on any of my designs. This is designed to look like one of the missiles but each contains 3 downward, and 1 each Left, Right, and Backwards facing thrusters. Each also contains 3 small batteries to help with the increased power demands.
Simply drop 2 missiles, merge onto the fighter, turn on and fly away!
