Disclaimer: She cannot handle wind sadly.
Disclaimer: She sucks up fuel like there is no tomorrow. I'm taking a break so it wont be addressed any time soon

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Múlaberg is an Icelandic fishing trawler built in Niigata, Japan in 1973 as Ólafur Bekkur ÓF (Ólafur bekkur was an outlawed Viking who was one of the first few settlers of Ólafsfjörður.) for a fishery in the town of Ólafsjörður called Útgerðarfélag Ólafsfjarðar. It was the seventh of ten sisterships called ''Japanstogarar'' or ''Japanese trawlers''. In the first few years, the ships were experiencing engine problems, but when they were solved the ships were considered exceptional. In 1987 Ólafur Bekkur, along with most of its sisterships went to Poland for renovations. The ship was lengthened by more than 6 meters, a new main engine, bulbous bow, bow thruster, gear and prop, and a new bridge. In 1990 a fishery called Sæberg HF acquired Ólafur Bekkur, and then the next year it was renamed Múlaberg (Name comes from a mountain/mountain ridge named Múlinn.). In 1997 Sæberg HF was acquired by another fishery Rammi HF and Múlaberg was relocated from Ólafsfjörður to Siglufjörður. On December 12 2012 While heading to fishing grounds, the 1st went overboard. He was last seen at 3 pm but no one noticed he was missing until 7 pm. Then in May the following year, by luck, his skeleton was found washed ashore. Despite Múlabergs almost 50 yrs of service it's still going strong and holds up pretty well. But of course like with any ship, there are flaws. With it being so narrow the trawl door winches are all the way at the back, and the line has to go all the way to the stern which can be dangerous. In 2021 Rammi HF announced they have a new ship coming in 2023 which is likely to replace Múlaberg.

Update 6/5/2020: Smooth Hull added
Update 6/6/2020: Added mooring lines and fixed multiple issues last update brought.
Update 8/2/2020: Massive update that changed the whole ship
Update 9/6/2020: Havent updated the changelog accordingly last few weeks. if i can remember correctly i have added new bridge stuff and improved trawl doors, also upgraded the M.O.B. This update brings a new Auxiliary Line system that can act as a crane of sorts.
Update 9/19/2020 : First person equipment added!
Update 9/21/2020 : Improved the MOB Boat
Update 4/6/2021 : Entire ship has been rebuilt.
Update 7/3/2021 : Stern redesigned to look more like the real one, added slight interior improvements, docking helm finally added and much more i cant remember.
Update 9/3/2021: Ship looks so much better, too many changes to list.
Update 1/9/2022: Rust has been added on deck and bridge and surrounding area. Processing deck, engine room, and most all interior reworked with pretty new ceiling and more. Added gen. Made the creation public again after some being unlisted for quite some time, and updated the WS description.
Update 1/12/2022: Radars now spin the correct way, Cabins are now named accordingly, Ship now has much more torque and can go alot faster. Fuel tank is now more then double the size it was before.
Update 1/15/2022: Last update ruined lot. Fuel time was only about 20 min. I am taking a break from building on Múlaberg, but in the meantime until it is fixed I made him slower and on full throttle should have the fuel time of a few hrs according to the calculator. But it chugs fuel if the throttle isn't on 100%. Which also needs addressing. Thank you for reporting its issues :]

Was there something in a update that broke the engine? I cant get it to start. I never had a problem with the other trawlers.

@jsk_2002 i tried on another vessel, fried my brain a little bit. Don't think i have the ability or willpower to install ap/heading hold into the system that already has alot of switch boxes. If you'd be able to add a heading hold or ap to the current system i'd happily credit you lol

Any updates on the heading hold?

@scooze I've tried doing the blue version, However without the anti-roll tank at the front it looked empty, and the green floor didn't look well with the white color. I'll give it another go and see how it'll look, but i doubt it'll look good
