Originally, the R.E.C just the section of engineers that designed ships for the Terran Republic's navy, what was originally the Reave Engineering Core was quickly reformed in the Republic Engineering Core as war with the Lunar Kolony was appearing on the horizon.

Following the reform, R.E.C began making ships for the navy, specifically ones designed for in space combat, though most smaller ships can fly in atmosphere. Whilst having capital ships that can fly in atmosphere is useful, Terra's planetary defense system makes it very difficult for any enemy of the Republic to land a sizeable invasion, as most of their transports would be reduced to cinders before making it to the atmosphere. However, despite a vast wealth of resources and a large and professional military, the amount of space controlled by the Republic has stretched it's fleet thin.


These ships use DLC, spawning them in without owning them may cause loss of pressurization and functionality. As of typing this, most of these ships are pre-warfare II, so they might not fare that well in combat as other, newer ships will. Sometimes I update these ships a little so some screenshots may be out of date.
