Description

This mod will improve your automatic transmission significantly!
No more wild shifting!
No more useless high RPM!
This mod tries to keep your engine rpm within the max torque range.

When low on throttle -> Engine tries to keep low RPM -> early upshift
When normal on throttle -> Engine tries to stay low RPM -> later upshift
When full on throttle -> Engine tries to stay within max torque range -> maybe downshift

This mod covers all ETS2 default engines.
This mod marks modified engines with a "+" behind their names. See picture.

This mod tries to keep your engine rpm within the max torque range.

(Might improve fuel efficiency due to improved shifting)

Settings:

Use "Normal Powermode" as default
Use "Eco Powermode" to disable kickdown

Pro Tipp:

Assign a button to toggle engine brake which will make the engine downshift and then use retarder if needed

don't work. my Volvo is still trying to launch from 6th gear and it barely moves.

Would it be possible to get the engine to rev higher under high throttle like in real life where the engine would go to like 1600-1800 rpm

I do like this mod a lot, however with the new Daf XG I am not seeing the "+" by any of the engine selections, MX-11 or MX-13 range, normal power mode is selected.
Is anyone else getting this with this particular truck?
