Description
Wellington Harbour, New Zealand.

This map has been designed to be used with the 81 tiles map. There is plenty of buildable (smoothed) area while still keeping the characteristic hills and green belt. I strongly recommend that you use the NotSoRocky Hills map theme as seen in the snapshots so that the hills are green as they should be.

This map includes the Ngauranga, Petone and Mangaraki Interchanges with SH1 and SH2 being outside connections. Train lines from Wellington through to Johnsonville and beyond as well as the Hutt Vally Train line both serve as outside connections. The Terrace tunnel has roads each side but the tunnel so left over to the city builder. * Some roads may require fine adjustments. I highly recommend using Fine Road Anarchy and Move It!

Water features include the Hutt river, the Karori dams and some minor tributaries (although the water flow from these aren't great).

The start area includes waste water (to Moa point) with temporary power there for the pump so that your not pumping sh!t into the harbour. Another power turbine is on Brooklyn hill and the Mt. Kaukau television transmitter may help you with bearings and future placement if you are going for a replica city :)

@exquiste thanks for downloading my map. There are 2 outside road connections (just like in real life map) which join up north of the starting area - so you won't see heaps of highway traffic right way. The starting area does have connections to those roads. :steamhappy:

The thing I don't like about this map is the fact that there's no roads ingoing or outgoing the map.
