Choosing your Class Type
The First Class: Gives you an AK47 with balanced stats in health, damage and range. Overall a decent class, but I would not recommend this for your first playthrough, unless your coming from mother Russia.

The Second Class: Gives you a pump shotgun with good stats in both damage and health, but has poor range. Don't let the range fool you, this is a very good class for beginners and advanced players. Speaking from my experience, the extra health got me out of bad situations and the extra damage at close range gets the job done. When the goatman turns around shove the lead up his....

The Third Class: Gives you a scoped rifle that offers both high damage and high range, but has poor health and that can be very dangerous. Its a good class if spot the goatman first, but too risky in my opinion as there will inevitably be close encounters. Recommended for online games when your friend plays as the meat shield.

Items
First Aid: They restore your health about 25% each time used, one first aid can be used up to five times, and can be placed anywhere you like. I generally keep the ones in the caravan as last resort, as there are others scattered the map and you can only carry one at a time.

Tripod Light: These are pretty good at night, scatter a few around the caravan and use the rest anywhere you like.

Mines:
They deal a lot of damage, but one time use and you also have feet....keep just a few around the caravan and scatter the rest.

Bear Traps: They deal a bit of damage but the good thing about these things, is that they can be reused. I suggest you scatter them around the caravan and in areas you like to frequent, as readjustments will need to occur.

Cameras and Drone: Keep one near your camp! And Scatter the rest. But yeah again keep a camera or the drone near the caravan, as animals or the goatman tend to attack when your looking at the monitor. They also transmit sound.

C4: Tricky to use but not impossible! It has an attached camera but has no stand, so to get the best results with it is to put these on flat ground and away from grass, otherwise the vision will be hindered. My favourite place to use these is at the shallow sandy lake located between the caravan and the graveyard, placed on top of the orange sand. The goatman likes to have walks there....

Locations on Compass
Caravan: Your starting location, inside the caravan you got two bear traps, twelve mines, six cameras, six cases of c4 and two first aid kits. Just outside the caravan you will find another three bear traps an ammo box that spawns infinite ammo and a PC with a monitor. In the box of your blue van you have four tripod lights. Oh yeah and there's a drone on top of the caravan.

This is an area frequented by the goatman, so the best strategy here is to plant your bear traps and some mines around, don't bother placing them behind the caravan, the goatman always comes from the north or west side so that's a bonus. Set your tripod lights around and a camera nearby and your set. When he decides to show his fancy horns stay near the caravan door and shoot him, when hes gotten to close move inside to safety than he will run off and hopefully trip over a mine or something.

Barn:
You would normally encounter a bear or two as your getting close to the barn, just shoot em and move on, unfortunately you cant take their meat :/ Anyway...inside the barn you will trigger an event and the big barn door will close when the goatman gets inside, leaving you to take an alternate back door. Before going in I suggest you put a few traps as he will always pass from the same area. Normally a deer and a wild boar will attack you afterwards so just try not to die.
There is a mine inside the barn and a two tripod lights, the house nearby also has a first aid.

Northern Bridge: As soon as you reach the middle of the bridge an event will occur and the goatman will attack without mercy, followed by darkness, rain and two bears coming from the opposite direction of the bridge.....clever but lucky for us the bears are fat so they take longer to arrive.

Amberpine Village:
The only danger here are a few snakes, some made nests inside the abandoned houses and can be annoying to see. My advice is to open your ears and when you hear them hissing move carefully, cautiously, indubitably, purposely. Inside the houses and just outside of one house you will find the following: First aid kit, tripod light, bear trap, an ammo create that spawns infinite ammo and FOUR mines (I would thank the village elder, he was a cautious man...well that or he had a sick hobbie). There are a few animals nearby too, but I never encountered the goatman here.

Graveyard:
Soon as you go in an event will occur and snakes will surround your exits, followed by rain and darkness, even the goatman will come for you! But the goatman shows up late and the snakes are incapable to slither to your direction, so calmly kill the snakes and pick the loot resting on top of the coffin. These include a first aid, bear trap and a mine....than deal with the goat.

Church: There's a pair tripod lights outside the church and a first aid kit behind it on a grave, when your inside the an event will occur and the skies suddenly darken followed by ...yo yo f**ka rain and darkness darker than black followed by another goatman attack.

Greenfield Village: There's a cultist in the village, so be a bit careful about that, make sure to be at good health if you intend getting close. Other than that the village is no real threat and there is also a lot of loot in the area. The loot includes: Two bear traps, three mines, two tripod lights, two first aid kits and an infinite ammo crate.

Points of Interest
Southern Bridge: This bridge is just behind the caravan, not much to say except its a safe zone. There is also a note attached to the bridge.

The Back House: Cross the southern bridge and follow the path to the west, there you will find a tripod light outside, and a mine inside the house.

The Woods House: Follow the path from the southern bridge and your there. Inside the house you can find a note and a mine. Handy :)

The Lone House:
Located south from the cave, inside this house there is a tripod light. I had a few encounters with the goatman here, peek over the dried river and mountains nearby, your likely to see him doing cardio.

The Dried Lake:
Its in between the caravan and the church, just near the woods family house. You can easily spot the orange sand. Nearby on grass there is a cultist and a very dangerous one (nicknamed the hippie), he is dangerous because when your close he will get hight and levitate up in the sky and summon dark orbs that spawn large chucks of builders, these will fall on you, crush your bones and kill you. If you want some bone crushing experience and want to find the cultist quickly, I suggest using the drone as it makes easy spotting. Also as mentioned before, this is a nice area to plant c4 as the goatman frequently comes jogging here.

The Cave: Located under the northern bridge, this area is fruitless and thus has no supplies to help yield any benefit. There are snakes and a cultist inside with both not particularly dangerous. I still suggest going there at least once for your own experience.

Enemies
The Goatman: The main antagonist, has a massive health bar and particularly dangerous at close quarter combat. He is also fast, elusive, tireless, able to change the weather at will and manipulate wildlife to attack you. He even he has a body physique that would give Arnie a run for his money for Mr Olympia.....Anyway despite being a macho he too has irresistible pleasures that you should take advantage of.

Known weaknesses

Game events He simply always shows himself in certain locations, so planting a few traps before going in the barn or the church will get him hard.

Flare Gun: Despite the flare not doing any damage, the light sometimes attracts the goatman, so you can combine this with some traps. That or if your playing an online game, try to flush him out and bang him together....as a team.

Bears: These bears take a couple of shots to take down but not a big threat.

Deers: Low health, easy to handle, just don't let them too close.

Boars: Same as the deer, except they smell worse.

Snakes: They always hiss so take your time to spot them when you hear them. They take one shot to take down and cant move themselves. Just don't trip on a live one.

Cultists: There are three cultists in the game, they are located separately at Greenfields Village, the cave and the other near the Woods family home. They can't be killed but will eventually leave you in peace....after they attempt to kill first you of course.
