Super Boss Saffron

Bored of the same old Saffron boss fight? Blackout and Kinetic Wave got you down? Then try out Super Boss Saffron, a mod which adds a number of new spells to Saffron's deck at higher difficulty levels.

This mod makes a few extra spells legal for Saffron always, but the meat of the changes happen only at tier 4 and above. At these tiers, everyone's favorite scientist gets a bevy of new, dangerous and unpredictable attacks, such as Tile Fire, Poison Tails and even Caltrops! Stop visiting the fire zone every time you need a break, as this Saffron is dangerous enough to fit in with the other higher-challenge boss fights.

In my experience, the new Saffron fight is quite difficult, but not as scary as the toughest boss fights already in the game. She's easier than someone like Violette, but tougher than Hazel or Shiso. Your mileage may vary.

The following spells are added to her pool of possible attacks at all times:
- Miss-Me Shield
- Showdown

At Tier 4 and greater, she can also show up with these spells:
- Amalgam
- Firewall
- Ion Cannon
- Poison Tails
- Sweeper
- Tile Fire
- Caltrops

The focus here is on spells that mess up the player's area and require unusual dodging techniques to escape, but which can still be avoided by an attentive player.

In addition, at higher tiers, Saffron will do the same amount of damage with Ragnarok and Bow Snipe as the player does, so don't get hit by these extremely powerful attacks. (Before this mod; Saffron can only deal 50% damage with these attacks; I've changed it so that at tiers 4 and 5, she gets 75%, and at 6 and 7 she gets the whole thing. If you're looping or playing on Hell Pass 13, you can handle Ragnarok. Just don't mess up!)
