Description
Minor civilizations are sometimes found on planets that do not correspond to them, for example:
- Aquatic Akirians can be on Arid planet;
- The Eldritch, who are described as “living in makeshifts tunnels under the surface of the planet”, or the Nyemorian with desolate landscape at the picture, are found on the Ocean planet;
- And Yar-ssian with green hills in the background can be on a Barren planet.

This mod fixes that and makes a few improvements without radically changing the gameplay.

List of changes:

1. Home planets of minor civilizations now more accurately correspond to the contact description and their pictures. Possible planets are more diverse and includes uber planets.

2. For some civilizations their class has been changed. So, in the description of the first contact with Akirians, it is written that “they have forsaken technology in search of spiritual illumination. They claim to live in peace and harmony with nature.” It is obvious, that the farmers class is most corresponds to them.

3. The parameter "focus" are changed to match with the roles of civilizations. I'm not sure that it really affects the gameplay, but in any case, it will definitely not make it worse :)

4. Instead of three levels of development of relations with minor civilizations, there are now five.
But do not be surprised that for the fifth level the payment is less and the bonus is more. You need to consider the amount of total investment for all levels. The attached images show the advantages of the new scheme:
- Investments pay off slightly faster than in the original game. This is especially important if you have only one or two planets in a system with a minor civilization.
- The payment for the first level has been reduced, and the total amount of investment for all levels has become higher. This is done to extend the period of interaction with a minor civilization.

The latest version of the Unofficial Code Patch is required to work correctly https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1109736522.

Only the MinorCivClasses.yaml and RaceTypes.yaml files were changed.
The mod works with the latest version of the game (from March 12, 2020) and should be compatible with any other. Place it to the bottom of the list of mods.

Yes it is compatible. It overrides some lines of the same YAML. You must put this at the bottom of the load order.

Is this still compatible with 5X and UCP? Do these mods override the same YAML?

Farmers do not live in harmony with nature. They transform the environment to suit agricultural needs, killing everything in the process.
An apothecary who picks what nature grows to brew certain medicines at certain times of the year and has knowledge of pharmacology, flora and fauna is a scientist who lives in harmony with nature.

Dear LRG_NL.
If your question is still relevant, еhis mod has 5 levels of relationship development. Buildings like spaceport and outpost help to capture priority over another player, but don't increase the relationship level.

what are the levels of development of relations? are it the investements, which if it is the case then 5x has 9 lvl, or are it the buildings that the system contains, like a space port and outpost

Nice mod; I've done something quite similar in my own local mod. Minor leader lore text may suggest some other classes - you may want to check them out. The game is messy with the minor civ assets- they are all mixed up so it's a bit of a puzzle and a matter of choice. Not sure if you did but you can change the city lights too (I believe they're all set to Alkari iirc).

for example:

Akirian Highness = Research: "The soft, jelly like bodies of the Akirian have made them horrifically unsuited for combat, so they have collectively turned their interests towards science and academia."

Eldritch Scribe = Research: "Part scavenger and part scribe, the Eldritch know secrets of the universe that they should never have access to knowing."

Glis Janitor = Workers: "Trevor, a bumbling sack of idiocy with no arms or legs, is the best ambassador the Glis could come up with. He pushes a broom around pretty effectively and has only broken three maintenance tools this week."
