The selection was based off of having a variety of different gaming series and genres as well as taking into consideration existing video game civilization mods as to not conflict with them (in other words, this is why there isn't a Fire Emblem City-State in the selection).

I intend to update this list in the future. What I would add/remove would depend on what mods modmakers develop over the coming months. For example, if a Pac-Man civilization was released, I would replace Pac-Land with something from a different series not yet represented in the Steam workshop.

Feel free to suggest ideas for possible future City-States in the comments section, though keep in mind there's little point of suggesting something that already exists as a civ (for example, no point in suggesting Gruntilda's Lair because we have a Gruntilda civilization).

Please note that you will at least need the Brave New World expansion in order to play this mod. I highly recommend to have all Civ 5 DLC (including the Gods and Kings and Brave New World expansions) before playing, as it may not work otherwise. I also advise against playing this mod alongside other City-State mods as they may be incompatible with each other.

@Vulpes Oddworld is present in the mod, but I did forget to list it in the original workshop description as I was writing it on release day. The description's been updated to fix that error.

You put Abe in the thumbnail, and don't have an Oddworld city.

With that said, I'll look into it to see if it's plausible, but while I think it's a possibility, I believe it requires either removing other current stuff (Civilizations and base game/G&K exclusive city-states, the latter there's only so many I could add) or altering/adjusting the game's core files/creating a DLL mod which is probably a lot more complicated.

For the latter two (and possibly even the first one if you want to "mix and match"), there should be a workaround where you go into the downloaded mod files and remove specific coding that switches out certain city-states. For example, if you're playing with the CL Vietnam mod (that switches out the Hanoi CS), you could go into the mod file, search for the Hanoi coding, and remove that specifically out of the file and save. That should allow you to use both mods with just one less VG CS. Though if you do this, you should make a backup copy of the original file somewhere in case it doesn't work or you wish to revert it back to normal afterwards.

@raz. (This is split into 3 comments due to character limits)My guess is you're asking this because another CS mod you wish to play with alongside this one does the same thing (this was the reason I mentioned they may be incompatible in the description above), a different mod does something similar (e.g. a real life /historical civilization mod that replaces a city-state) or if for whatever reason you wanted to play a game where you can have both vanilla and VG city-states.

is it possible to add them without removing current city states

@sailormarsfan1701 I don't necessarily take ideas for civs themselves since I usually decide on which civs/mods to make based on my own interests and knowledge, and while I know who both characters are, I'm not familiar enough at this time with Darkstalkers or Mortal Kombat to confidently create a faithful mod on either civ.

I do though listen to ideas for uniques/improvements for a civ (though I'm still somewhat new to the modding scene) that I have made or am planning to make (and as stated above, ideas for future city-states) as well as any errors found in the mods themselves.

not sure if you take ideas for civs or not but id like either a morrigan aensland darkstalker civ or a sub zero lin quei civ
