WestCo radar - Full radar setup with realistic looking interface

Description
Radar microcontroller with demonstration bench setup for easy overview of what is needed for full install in ship or airplane/heli.
Shows decaying blips for found signatures. Strong signals highlighted with larger blips.
Will detect players, lootboxes, vehicle, etc., but due to Stormworks logic, it will not detect mountains, buildings, etc. although they can mask the radar.

NB:
- Red line represents north. (Make sure your compass sensor point forward on your vehicle.)
- If installed to spec, up/forward on your screen represents forward on the vehicle.
- Adjustable zoom, FoV, scan speed.
- Check properties for microcontroller. It works for various radar dishes, and you have a few settings.

can you make a setup guide?

I don't think it will work with the large radar, as the output from that one is very different from the other radars.

how would you use this with a radar dish?

Well, that can be useful in SAR operations. (Search and rescue)

It will sometimes detect players, but I have also found it to be a little random.

I didn't change anything, and I don't appear to be detecting myself.

lol - Just found a random crate filled with cash with your RADAR script.... Didn't know it could detect these.

Oh yeah, you're right. All my confusion was that I thought the red line represented the vehicle's orientation.... where in reality, it represents true-north.
Peekofwar 24 Apr, 2020 @ 4:08pm
Oh, the red line is North? That would explain that. The LIDAR controller I'm using uses the red line for vehicle-direction.

I will look at the minimum range, but I was of the impression that it wouldn't pick up the same vehicle. May be wrong.

The red line is north, and up is vehicle direction.
If it shows mirrored results, you need to mirror your radar, I think. It works as it should in the test bench.
