Description
Willkommen auf manntoto mod!

This mod likely won't be to everyone's tastes but is relatively bug-free, has improved AI, and focuses on unique, interesting faction designs and thematic commander concepts.

The idea was to revert to Relic's original core faction designs, albeit with a twist. The Brits are slightly different in that they are a newer faction and haven't received substantial design changes in vanilla; the best way I can describe them in the mod is 'powerful but inflexible' -- you have multiple options but are locked into them once chosen.

All commanders have been tested; some are kept as-is, some have received tweaks, and some have been redesigned.

In the past most people here seemed to focus more on vanilla 1v1 and 2v2, but if anyone would be interested in trying the mod and providing any feedback (good or bad) then I'd appreciate it. A few of us play this mod regularly and I've been incorporating feedback from testers where it aligns with the mod's design goals, and so whereas not everything will be to your tastes - and especially if you only play vanilla - you will hopefully find something to enjoy.

I can't be bothered to update this mod for all the commander changes in vanilla, as it means having to arbitrarily redesign my own commanders simply to make use of the triggers/exploits available. This is in large part due to Relic refusing to update the mod tools' attrib files, and refusing to allow commander loadouts to be officially moddable; it has always required workarounds.

So that, combined with all the additional (pointless) balance changes, means this mod is no longer supported and will now be made private.

v3.07d released; compatibility update for the Winter Balance Patch - please let me know if anything seems weird/broken, or any commander loadouts are incorrect (per the lists available in the Discussions tab).

I've added a known issue I've spotted since the 64-bit patch, which is that Lee Enfield rifle scopes do not appear since the 64-bit update, so just look like normal rifles; hopefully this is just a visual glitch that will be fixed, and as far as I know doesn't affect the weapon itself.

I haven't changed anything relating to this for months, and I've noticed this since the patch, so it looks like they've either broken, removed or somehow changed the way scoped rifles work.

I know that people have been absolutely crying out [citation needed] for an update to this mod, so I've just released one. Two minor issues I've noticed have now been fixed.

Is there a summary of this mod somewhere? I'd like to be able to read through all the design changes rather than take the time to play and relearn each faction to figure it out by trial and error.

You may find more people are interested in trying it if they know a bit about what there getting into before spending a lot of time with it.

Very interesting mod. I love most of the changes to the factions, especially for the eastern front armies. Thank you btw for making the Penal Squads somewhat historical as both irl and the games own flavor text they were expendable troops, I never understood why Relic made them into heavy troops. Thought the replacing of Grens with Ostruppen was interesting but didnt hate it. Over all good mod, sorry for wall of text and spelling errors.
