Description
This mod adds House Dustiness (With full custom dialogue!) led by Darkness from the anime Konosuba. Made and tested with Brave New World.

---House Dustiness---
Leader: Darkness

UA: Inaccurate Masochist - Unhappiness from Population is reduced by 20%, however attacks are 20% weaker. (This doesn't apply when attacking cities though.)

UB1; Banquet Hall - A replacement of the Granary. In addition to the usual qualities, it also provides 1 food to Bison, Sheep, Cattle and Fish. However it requires 2 maintenance instead of 1.

UB2: Training Hall - A replacement to the Forge. In addition to the usual qualities, it provides locally produced units (even naval) with a 20% defense bonus promotion. (Please note that since the Forge requires a source of iron so does this unique.)

Playstyle: In my experience Darkness has a rough start with a lot of potential. Early on her Banquet Hall will give her a lot of growth to meet the potential her UA provides. However the increased maintenance will wreck your economy. You will often bleed money early game. This also means you won't be able to support a large military early, so if you get rushed you are in a tough spot, especially with weaker attacks. You have to be very particular with your city placement. Settle next to lots of bonus resources to maximize food from the banquet hall, and settle in defensible terrain to cover for your weakness to being rushed. The training Hall helps defend, but it comes late and is reliant on a source of iron, so dont depend on it entirely. Since your cities are likely to have high population, once you can connect your cities to your capital you will get a lot of gold from the connections and this will likely be the first time in a while your economy starts to look healthy. In the long-run if you can get through the rough start your growth potential will likely be enough to out-macro the other civilizations. Late game her UA will give her much leeway to resist ideological pressure.

AI: An AI Darkness is mostly isolationist and unlikely to declare wars. She makes an excellent neighbor due to this. She will focus mostly on growing her cities to high populations. She lacks focus outside of this.

As always, thanks to the Fire Emblem modding discord for their support. Intellectual property belongs to their respective owners. If you enjoy this mod, please see the other Konosuba mods in the collection, or even some of my other unrelated mods. I delight in feedback!

PS: Her icon is an arrow missing the target's center. Lol.

I know when you think Megumin, you must think Nukes. But a nuke UA wouldn't come into play until very late, making it boring and essentially non-existant for most of the game. Also it would be more difficult to make. The backup for Megumin would be an archery-focused UA, but I already do that through her unique components. (Also there are a lot of civ mods out there with archery UAs so I dont want it to be redundant.)

I was saving Megumin for last because hers would be the most difficult to make code-wise and also I am unsure of her balance. I was going to make her UA based off of Yunyun: Please be my friend - Gain a (Truly) free great Merchant at The Wheel, Currency and Banking. (I was also thinking of giving her more influence from trade missions, at most double.) And then make her unique components based off of Megumin. Not sure if it would be op. My aim balance-wise is to make them at most as strong as Poland.

Eventually. I am hoping to do Wiz -> Eris -> Then Yunyun/Megumin as a combined civ.

Will you be adding megumin to the game as well? All 4 in the game would be amazing

I'm looking forward to the next ”Megumin”

Just noticed the typo in the UA, will fix later.
