What I CAN say is that this mod is more tuned towards early to midgame, meaning the intention is that you should see steady results from micro gameplay. The side effect is that once you hit lategame where it's mostly macro gameplay, automation and 100s or 1000s of ships in your fleet with multiple efficient trade stations, leveling gets trivialised.
Last time I played with the mod enabled I always had 4 star pilots or higher I could supply my destroyers with because of the sheer number of miners and traders I had that were working nonstop.

Also, the mods are incompatible. Use either this mod or that one.
