"Around in 1982, Ash and his college friends spent the weekends at the cabin somewhere in the middle of the forest. When Ash discovers the Necronomicon along with the tape recorder, the voice from the tape recorder was formerly the owner of the cabin and translated few passages from the book, unleashing Kandarian Demon. The demonic spirit possessed his friends and was forced to kill them. Though he may survive the first night, his right hand was possessed, which left him no choice but to cut off his right hand with a chainsaw. Ash was sent back in time to 1300 AD, but was able to go back in his own time by retrieving the Necronomicon from the graveyard. Thirty years later, a zombie-like virus began to spread throughout Michigan and eventually the whole states of the United States. As for Ash well, that didn't stop him. With his chainsaw and his boomstick, he's fully prepared for an unexpected apocalypse. Groovy....
