Description
• Only DLC required is Riviera Line in the Fifties!

The date is Sunday 11th May 1958 and you're taking the Cornish Riviera Express from Exeter St Davids to Newton Abbot, calling at Dawlish and Newton Abbot only. The line is busy and you're running low on water, so you need to be conservative as well as timely!

Duration: ~ 28 mins

Notes
• The correct headboard is found with headlights (H) configuration 16
• The water scoop is lowered and raised using (Ctrl+T)
• The scenario was tested using 'Realistic' driving, but should work on any
• If you lag at Exeter, try going into the cab (1) or looking away from the particle effects

(Jul - 2022). Ran OK with no problems.

Because no one can see what performance percentage or speed you've set for a "Go via", it is better for all if you set passing speed at 1 mph then no one can fail.

a good run thank you are there any engine fitted with a scoop to pick up water from tyhe troughs

I'm afraid I can't change the way the game works. Either all the AI timing is out of sync with you, or you need to reach 75% of line speed :)

It's only a theory, but if there's no time requirement you can still fail them. I think this because I had the "performance" set to 100% (default 75%) and then went through at less than that and it failed me. I adjusted the scenario accordingly, of course. If I set the speed lower, the timetable will be too relaxed.

Hi Smithers, were you going fast enough? To complete a 'Go Via' you need to be going at 75% line speed

I failed

I passed Dawlish but I get a stupid cross

and it's incomplete!
