for the ship 'upgrade' it was a mod u can found the link in my previous comments and for the pet u need to create a capture pod, take half of the life of the monster and then throw it on him so u can have him and then u can throw the capture pod with ur pet or inside your ship (it ll stays in your ship forever) or u can throw it on the planet u are and its gonna follow you and fight with you
