Since your original post I have added this double update thingie on lens swap
You can try if that works on the dedicated (keep in mind to do the lens swap if it doesn't work from the start)

There is no "host" when you are using dedicated.
If you start MP from singleplayer then you are host, probably it wouldn't work for clients in such situation.

Sooo.... actually what doesn't work?
The display in left bottom corner (it just says random shit) or the machine doesn't work (aka no power is transfered to other machines)

I thought I would offer. lol as far as the code goes, that is really odd. I mean, it works in multiplayer when I host the game from inside the single player, but the dedi doesn't (as of the time of writing this original post. I haven't tried it since.)

That won't work
I need both server and client logs after each try
I need a way to restart server to test new version of mod
And passing new version throught steam workshop isn't a way because it updates 5-10min after upload and it might break stuff for other people etc


Also, In the meantime I have checked code of normal lasers...
They don't have this weird multiplayer handling that other machines have o-O
That makes me curious what actually doesn't work...
For now I have forced it to update itself after the lens are changed (so it basically updates twice, because by default it already updates once)

Would you like to use my dedi server to test?

I can imagine that most of my mods don't work on dedicated servers
And my PC can't handle dedicated and game at once so I don't bother trying to make it work since I can't test anyway (not to mention "dnspy" has problem handling the MP code of FCE)

This laser isn't working in the dedicated server I have set up.

it wasn't mod conflict -> 1 of my functions was off and instead of modding the infinite PPS it was buffing all lasers...
The problem is that vanilla lasers first check if they have enough power to transfer anything
And having more than "infinite" was off limits and they didn't work

Could you wait 5-10min for steam to download update and then try if the issue persists?
