Have you ever considered following up on your consideration from 2 years ago haha?

Well yes I do consider simply remove influence cost of city upgrade or change it to some manpower cost

Ah hell... I started playing without checking that this mod also makes metropolises and cities hella expensive

It should work on 2.0

True. Anyways this mod was updated in 2020 and the picture was taken before the 2.0 update. Does this work with 2.0?

Hi thanks for your feedback, About price reduction, compare to the vanilla cost it is already greatly reduced, and making it too cheap also make those tech useless (well, quite a lot of tech are useless in vanilla anyway...)

Could you make an updated version of the mod for 2.0 and decrease the price to 150 cash? The way imperator works you get so little influence that it's foolish to spend investing anywhere but your capital, and to be honest that 450 price you put is kinda crippling in the early game.

Being able to just shell out cash to invest is nice but making base cost 500 makes it prohibitive at game start unless you're using your free investments. Maybe add a character interaction on your ruler to trade the 80 PI for a 'free' investment so cash strapped nations can still afford the odd investment and so nations not constantly making claims can use that peace time to build up a bit.

Interesting idea... let's see the line about duration in game files first
