Description

Update of ChippedChaps mod
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1543157124

- Added Russian Translation, by Vladimir Saenko
- Added correct reservation of filth so pawns dont clean the same filth
- Pawns that is not allowed in a higher priority cleaning zone should now clean filth in lower priority zones instead of not cleaning at all
- There's a soft incompatibility with Dubs Bad Hygiene: pawns clean outside of the designated zone. Turning off "prefer indoor cleaning" in DBH options solves the problem.

Legacy 1.0 Version
For now, please use the updated version by Mlie here:
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2018316486
I plan to only make my own version if I add any new features - I'm grateful for any unofficial maintenance and I will only supersede unofficial updates until there is a good reason to do so.

Allows you to prioritize areas over others for cleaning.

Unstable Test Release - If you find bugs, say something.

If you are concerned about errors after updating to the most recent version, please read the change notes.

Main Features
Priority Cleaning: You can make colonists clean filth in an important area before cleaning another lower priority areas that you can assign. If you make an allowed area covering your hospital and set it to the highest priority (using the menu you can open by clicking the broom icon on the bottom right of your screen) colonists will clean the hospital first before cleaning anything else.

Arbitrary Priorities: You can pick any area to put on the priority list. You can even remove the home area and add in another custom area and your colonists will stop cleaning the home area and instead clean according to your set priority list.

Works fine if you don't care about priority: The first cleaning area by default will be the home area, so if you don't touch the priority list at all when playing on a map, colonists will clean like usual.

Additional Notes:
There is bit of delay between the current cleaning area updating and new filth being spawned. This is because, like vanilla, colonists won't clean new dirt (must be 600 ticks after the filth has last thickened).

No original game methods have been detoured and the vanilla tracking of filth in the home area still works, so if any mods use this they should be fine. This mod may be incompatible with other cleaning mods. If you're not sure, try using them together and see if it works!

The mod will always force you to have at least one cleaning area. If you delete your last cleaning area the Home area will be added to the priority list.

As this is the first version, expect bugs. However, don't be too scared, they probably won't corrupt your save and if you uninstall you will get a few errors that can be eliminated by overwriting your savegame. Your colonists will go back to cleaning the home area.

If you like/don't like this mod, please remember to rate!

I love this mod, but I wish there was a way for my cleaners to do some cleaning "on the way" between higher priority cleaning zones. Ie, when on a trip between different cleaning zones, clean at most floor(x% * trip length) times along the way.

Jixxor you maybe have Dubs hygiene on?
At the top it mentiones a soft incompatibility.

I've accidentally had them both active, yes, but the pawns adhered to the cleaning priority (I never put a zone into the other mod). And now it doesn't work with either mod, so what's the issue asking if anyone has an idea that might help?

Jixxor the case that youve send the exact same message to another cleaning mod(cleaningareatemp) doesnt really show that its this mods fault that it doesnt work.
If you have several mods doing the same, it can happen that all of them stop working.
Especially if you mention two mods which do the same as the mod ive seen your comment previously smh.

Maybe this helps figuring out why the zones don't work for me? I have only "cleaning" zone and "cleaning prio" zone in the list but my pawns go out to the city wall and clean dirt there because they clean the home area instead https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/0c12ec68d83687cbf1981112ce6e76fc

Does anyone have a clue how I can get this to work again?
It worked fine, then I messed up and removed a mod from an ongoing run. I had to restore zones using the Mid-saver Saver mod which fixed the grey screen issue. But ever since then no cleaning area type mods want to work anymore.
Am I just cooked?

@Lord Abortion If you still need help solving this problem, you can try installing Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Props and Decor. This mod allows you to set decals and props (including blood) to decorate your colony. I have not tested it myself, but I am almost one hundred percent sure that the pawns will not perceive these objects as dirt

For those who can't figure out how to start using the mod, like me, it is in a broom icon in the bottom right corner with the rest of them. At the very top row (depending on how many mods yall have that add icons).

Very sad, but this is FPS killer for me. Regular spikes to zero FPS, even with one zone only.
