Description
Boy ask a whistlepunk, i dont know.

The 2-6-6-2 and 2-6-6-2T mallets are somewhat of a rarity, build in limited numbers by baldwin, they were exclusively used by lumber companies that had a sizeable operating spanning across a large area with several spread out logging camps. These locomotives where used to haul lumber from the far away logging camps to the sawmills, at a faster speed than the reliable but slow shay's could manage. They were able to climb steep grades and maneuvre across curved tracks easily thanks to their 'mallet' articulation.

This logging Mallet was built in September 1934 as #4 for the Weyerhaeuser Timber Company's logging operations at Klamath Falls, Oregon. After it was no longer needed at Klamath Falls #4 was sold in 1952 to the Sierra Railroad of Jamestown, California where it was renumbered to 38.

thats because i use realistic train lengths instead of the dumb short vanilla length

This is a gorgeous locomotive, but for some reason it seems to make trains longer than the default ones? That deadlocked a cargo hub I had on a spur line.

@frenkyg thats because i keep forgetting the correct order in which to put the names of the locomotives and trailers in the vehicleeffects.xml because this stupid game renames assets upon publishing them to the workshop. i will update them.

@GiomertyE love your assets! Some how tho, with the latest steam powered trains, I get an error with the vehicle effects.. I tried reinstalling/unsubbing resubbing to the mod and the assets, but they dont show.. Any idea what might be causing it? With the USRA freight and passenger trains it the effects do show ;)
