Sweet! Thanks! This goes great with the "Calamity" mod that adds a Mass Effect style pirate invasion to the endgame. Now I can conquer most of the galaxy and watch my galactic empire slowly crumble as it tries to defend itself against the alien onslaught

And thank you for explaining why it happened too. I never understood how it was possible that an alliance of two or three factions out of 10 could win by "Conquest" when half of the galaxy was not even explored. Maybe now I will be able to finish the game story.

Thank you! I quit playing because most times the game ended too fast even while disabling most victory conditions.
