Description


More gemstones for more sparkly bases!

Semiprecious stones: amethyst, chalcedony, citrine, garnet, lapis, quartz, serpentine, and turquoise. Stats are similar to vanilla jade. These gems can be mined, purchased, or deep drilled.

Precious stones: diamond, emerald, ruby, and sapphire. These are rare, valuable, and beautiful. Precious stones cannot be found as surface ore, but only deep drilled or traded for.

Both tiers of gemstones are accepted by royal tribute collectors.

Safe to add mid-game, and the gemstones will spawn on new maps. Removing it might cause problems.

Hey, thanks for a great mod. I have noticed if you use this mod with the Jewellery mod, you end up with duplicate items; ruby, sapphire and diamond. This is not a criticism. But I wonder whether it would be possible to have an option to disable certain gemstones, or even better, an option to rename these gemstones to something like " Brilliant Ruby" or "Sparkling Sapphire" or "Dazzling Diamond", just to make them have distinct names when used with the "Jewellery" mod.

That will need a patch then. It should be simple enough to do on either mod, but will be a while before I can get to it - my modding to-do list is sooo long right now

i'm afraid it's only accepting metals to make the crown out of, but maybe the 2 of you authors could figure out something fancy?^^

I haven't seen that mod before, so it will depend on how it works and whether they patched for Gemstones.

If the crown mod allows stuffing with the "Stony" material type (like vanilla Jade), then it doesn't need patching.

Your Best Friend - This mod has never included flooring, but some floor mods might support it. I know that tFluffy's Stuffed Floors is compatible; not sure if there are any others.

I could have sworn you were able to build flooring with these Gemstones?
