Super Ocelot

Description
Work Not in progress anymore. 2024 update coming soon !

Super Ocelot
Multi-role veloce helicopter with thrust propulsion for fast rescue operations, crew, cargo and small vehicule transportation.

Top Speed: 125 m/s - 240 knots - 450 km/h
Cruise speed: 70 m/s - 135 knots - 250 km/h

Guide:
Start up
  • Switch on the main battery
  • Switch on avionics
  • Turn on the engine
  • Engage ignition booster for faster startup
  • When engine start up, engage rotor clutch
  • When the rotor RPS is in the green, you are ready to go
Thrust
The jet engine also generates thrust. Thrust can be increased/decreased to increase/decrease speed.
  • 1: Increase thrust
  • 2: Decrease thrust
Heli mode: Thrust < 50%
Fly it like an helicopter
  • A/D : Roll
  • W/S: Pitch
  • Left/Right: Yaw (to turn)
  • Up/Down: Collective
With thrust between 0% and 50%, turning using yaw allows easy curves as the Super Ocelot reduces the lateral speed with "auto-roll".

Gyro mode: Thrust > 50%
Fly it like a plane
  • A/D : Roll (to turn)
  • W/S: Pitch
  • Left/Right: Yaw
  • Up/Down: Inoperent

Turbine Throttle
Increase or decrease Turbine throtlle with touchscreen. Turbine RPS has 7 positions. 3 is default. It increases and decreases turbine RPS, increasing and decreasing thrust (more speed in gyro mode) and allowing more weight load (in heli mode).
In heli mode, Turbine RPS position is clamped between 1 and 5.
Rotor RPS is locked at 60RPS for turbine position 3 to 7 and "free" for position 1 and 2.
For fast Rotor clutch engagement, engage then disengage and re-engage.

Modules
The Super Ocelot comes with modules that can be loaded in the cargo bay.
  • Turn on the module main swtich and connector
  • Hover above the module
  • Open the bay hatch using upper panel switch
  • Use the central hook to connect and raise the module (not the deck)
  • Close the bay hatch using upper panel switch
  • Switch off the hook connectors
  • The module should connect if correctly aligned. if not, push it to align.

List of modules:

Features:
- GPS Autopilot
- Altitude stabilisation system in all configurations & attitudes
- 2 Water canon controlled with camera

ok, i note :)
Thank you for the info.
Damn, you really like tsunami :D
BlueSpaceCat 24 Jun, 2024 @ 4:30pm
it would be useful, because most tsunamis it faces will flip it upside down
D_Bones  [author] 23 Jun, 2024 @ 6:51am
i see what you mean, but it was designed for search and rescue and not acrobatics ;)
BlueSpaceCat 22 Jun, 2024 @ 2:47pm
or a gyro flip
D_Bones  [author] 22 Jun, 2024 @ 2:38am
ok :D i will consider adding two long strong arms to flip it so...
Thank you for your feebacks ;)
