@EpicSOB I am sorry, my earlier answer was trash/rushed, I was in a hurry and shouldn't have written that. After reviewing your data, I have come to the conclusion that firstly, you missinterpreted the scalefactor as a normal number, while it is intetnded as a percentage and secondly, that you should gain 7 slots not 3. Try placing them, the information in the menu is a little bit buggy sometimes. It this doen't help DM me or something, the math should be correct for the actual calculation and the tooltip. Have fun.

I'm getting 3 extra slots when the math says I should be getting 742 extra slots
this is not expected behavior

scale factor = 1.960
total ship mass = 2,420,000 tons
total ship volume = 132,160,000 m^3

1.960*∛(1,452,000+54,316,000) = 742.276

so what isn't working here?

how does the math work, I see the equation but the in-game results significantly lower than what I worked out myself.
