Maybe it's a GPU or driver thing, who knows, i use AMD btw.

I would like to help those having the Super Bright Blue Water:

Install alongside this Mod, the mods: Water Texture Overhaul, Non-Reflective Water and No Sun Reflection.

This map is the best Map Mod for me, but the Bright Blue water was hurting my eyes, i even tested the mod alone just to guarantee it wasn't any conflict, but installing those mods fixed the water for me and i never ever had any more problems with it. Water looks normal deep blue, just like the screenshots above. Stay safe, generals.
