Also: Steam isn't used yet to this game having workshop items, and we've noticed it sometimes helps to unsubscribe and exit the game, then resubscribe, wait a couple of minutes, and then start the game again.
The crude backpack for the player character gives you not 1 but 2 additional slots.
The good backpack for the player character gives you 8 additional slots (from 3).
The super backpack for the player character gives you 14 additional slots (from 5).
The speed boost that you get from the skateboard, step and bike is tripled.

Sorry, but that is not yet possible. I'll ask the developers of the game to add this option.
