In practice though, the hover jack used this way causes endless Physics issues.
Everything is fine until things get bumped too close, then things get VIOLENT and launched into space.
I'm tweaking my own version to see if i can isolate the cause. Worst case, I'll use wenches powered off and locked instead of the Hover Jacks.
The ship itself is awesome though. It lifted my mobile base without issue (until the base hit a tree and boom, outerspace).
My mobile base is a modified version of Atlas'.
