Description
IPEX (Interplanetary Expeditions) are pleased to present the MT-6 Module Transporter. Capable of carrying up to 6 independent large CV modules to their destination for undocking and descent to the planet.

As a modular CV this gives you the ability to equip the ship as you want.

The following individual CV class Modules are available:

Command Medical, Cargo Transporter, Agriculture, Production, Defence, Crew Quarters, and Vehicle Hangar.

The MT-6 features 10 docking airlocks and a rearward landing pad. Although designed for space only operations the MT-6 is capable of planetary incursion if necessary.

Cryogenic pods are built in to preserve the expedition scientists and conserve energy and supplies for the operational crew.

As a civilian vessel weapons are not fitted at this time. Although modification can be carried out to provide modest armaments. A shield is fitted as standard.

Ah that explains it . Had a feeling it was a game limit . Not to worry I'll just have to transport them as components and fab them planetside .

@[ST-R] Solutech [ST] Thanks so much! Unfortunately the docking system in the game does'nt allow more than the docking ship to attach to one other vehicle. So a HV in the hangar can't be attached to the Main CV in this case. It's really annoying. When I designed this one it was more as a planetary hangar with the other pods. CPU is still in flux so I may need to tweek the pods a little by removing a couple of thrusters which won't affect performance. Thanks for getting in touch and really glad you like the build!

Absolutely love this . Im playing on the experimental branch and Im not sure if I have hit a limit in the game or a flaw in your hangar module . I can dock the pods in and out no problem unless I have a HV docked in the hangar pod . The pod will not dock to the ipex . Take the pod out sideways and remove the docked HV and bring the pod back in it docks just fine . Other than that I had to take a couple of the pods to T2 I presume Alpha 12 took them over the limit . Truly epic ship system though very well done indeed .

Sweet. I've been working on this idea for a while - large CV transport carrying other CV's with dedicated roles. This blows everything I have been thinking of away! Great design! Cheers and thanks for sharing!
